Review:

The Astrid Notes by Taryn Bashford is a wonderfully emotive coming of age story. Jacob Skalicky is left destitute when the five members of his band die in a car accident. Astrid Bell is a golden songbird, hiding her true dream of becoming a songwriter and feeling lost in a world of lies. Apart they feel as if they have nothing left to live for, but one day when Jacob walks through Astrids front door the possibility to feel alive again seeps through.

A book full of loss, love, forgiveness and just a little bit of musical magic. Recommended age 15+
